Xbox One bans swearing

Xbox One is new highly anticipated console to shake the market of video gaming. Millions of pre-orders already took place long before the official start of selling. Xbox One is thought to break all purchase records as it's marketing for the product is sky-rocketing. One new feature that the users will either hate or love is the censorship of swear words. The developers of the console decided to pay some attention to ongoing swearing when playing video games. Xbox will not track your records when you are using skype or other communication devices, but is sure to track your language when playing video games.

The Xbox company chose to focus on family-friendly environment to all age groups of players. Xbox says that there can be various penalties for breaking the rules. The more extreme one's can consist of players being banned from using the video section or particular games. As always, the opinions were divided. Some of the users highlighted the importance of the free speech word, and the fact that they are actually buying their product for the entertainment and not the regulations. The other half of the argument suggests that the game updates are sent to everyone and there has to be some level of regulation, it is important to think about the kids. The specialists say that the new generation console's are focusing on social media platforms and these need to be regulatated, if not there could be some types of abuse.

The Xbox One allows users to broadcast, play and chat, but numerous cases suggested that these are often used to show and advertise inappropriate content like pornography. Even for the company, it is essential to track these type of activities, the damage can be significant if the users begin to avoid the platform only cause of abusive content. The developers say that if you choose to violate these regulation, your account can be suspended or simply banned. One thing is clear, that in the world of globalization where everything can be reached in three clicks of a button, SOME sort of censorship is a must. If there is police on the streets, than somebody should monitor and control our lives in the electronic environment as well.
